I’m a retired Merchant Navy Captain, divorced and not seeking a serious or permanent relationship.
I enjoy the freedom of being single but would like a companion to just be able to ring and say “how about the pub for a meal or London for a show”
I travel a fair bit and try to spend as much of the English winter as I can, in sunnier climes.
When I’m in the UK I walk for exercise and am currently working my way through the National Trails.
I’m a dog lover but currently have no dog of my own.
I’ve always considered myself young (haven’t we all?) and there are those who say I’ve never grown up!.
My musical and cultural tastes are firmly rooted in the heydays of the 60’s and 70’s. I’m far happier eating at a pub bar than in a restaurant.
As I say, nothing serious but pubs on their own are a very bad habit.

I’d like to spend time with someone who makes me laugh, who likes travel, pubs and sunshine.
She can be almost anybody but it would be good if she enjoyed walking and dogs.
Physically active, funny and friendly.
She should not be looking for Mr Right because that’s not me.
