About her
This is the bit I was worried about as I’m very new to this but here goes. I am an easy going, chatty, fun lady who loves all things countryside and exploring our lovely ancient little towns and villages. I don’t mind overseas travel but there’s so much to explore here! A trip to London is always good; I love museums, galleries and exciting places to explore.
Good conversation is always a bonus; listening to other people and learning about people’s lives and views and what they have done or want to do in the future has always interested me. I have a very inquisitive mind. I enjoy reading; and can lose myself for hours in an old bookshop! I enjoy reading about different cultures; particularly East Asia, animals, walking and sometimes just like sitting quietly and doing a jigsaw. There’s nothing like pottering!!
For me, it’s about finding that quiet and comfortable companionship and just knowing that other person is there. Just a great companion who likes to spend time together would be great.
I worked in the health/charity sector for many years in mental health and then for the local authority in Social care. I think my friends would describe me as nice, loyal, having a good sense of humour, fun and a good listener.

My ideal match would be someone who is looking to spend quality time together but also likes their own space, even if it’s just pottering sometimes. Someone who likes some of the things I do but has their own interests too. I’m always up for learning and exploring new experiences and interests. I’m not impressed by what you have; it’s more about who you are and what you are like.
If you enjoy good conversation and have an enquiring mind; all the better. Being kind, thoughtful, not complicated, enjoys a quieter pace of life and having a good sense of humour would be great.
