I'm single, independent but sociable and outgoing.
I enjoy gardening, reading, music, cooking, walking, birdwatching, messing around on my computer, genealogy, cinema, theatre, travel and, having moved from the south-east to an area I don’t know very well, spending time discovering the beautiful coast and countryside of Yorkshire. I am a geocacher, which has led me to interesting locations all over the country and worldwide. I like motorsport, mainly motorcycle racing and hillclimb as a spectator, both trackside and on tv, was happy to ride pillion but hung up my crash helmet many years ago. The whiff of Castrol R or the deep burble of a big bike still makes my head turn though.
