About him
So about me, single, no ties, live alone with my 2 cute dogs, own home, financially independent, no debts or bad habits, had a successful career with own business, but now self employed part time with more time to enjoy life and new experiences.
Finding oneself single in your early sixties was never my plan, so of course, I'd love to find that missing link to make life complete.
I've 1 daughter and grandchildren, but sadly, they are overseas but i did visit recently.
I've recently lost my father after years of caring for him in his twilight years. It's made me realise that our healthy years are time limited, and now i have the time to make the most of it.
To describe me, well, I'm definitely grounded, intelligent, and live in a lovely home in a small town. I'm seen as sensible, confident, responsible, and good mannered, but mixed with a sense of fun and humour, cheeky wit, and looking out for others. Behind the confidence is a shy romantic in me which comes out all the more when received well.
I love to hear good live music or happy to dance the night away, especially those golden hits from the 70s to 90s. I like to experience nature and love walks by the water. I enjoy good, healthy food, but I am still happy to grab a naughty takeout occasionally. I keep active with gym, walks, and day to day maintenance jobs.
Im still very young at heart, not ready for the quiet retired life, but to stay active, explore new adventures, hear and dance to live music, and bring fun and laughter into each day.
I'm here for the right reasons, that is, to find that special person that I'd never bump into in the real world. If i meet some nice people and make friends on this journey then that's just a bonus.
