About him
My friends would describe me as being a good listener (which is handy in my role), caring and I enjoy meeting up with friends for a coffee and a chat. I like to get out and do things, although I also enjoy some quiet time chilling out with music or a good tv programme. I am always keen to learn new things and acquire new skills.
I am loyal, honest and respectful and do my best to support family and friends. I believe in communication and talking things through - to me communication is important to avoid any misunderstandings and resolve any issues. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt and show empathy wherever I can rather than just jumping to assumptions.
I am interested in meeting someone and getting to know them, hopefully leading to a long-term relationship.
I dislike people who see others as a potential stepping stone or who are rude and do not treat others with respect. If someone shows me respect then I will show them respect. In a relationship, I value honesty and loyalty - monogamy is important to me as is good communication so that any issues that arise can be resolved early before they become a major issue.
I enjoy most sports (mainly watching), walking, listening to music - my favourite type is rock music although I enjoy 70s and 80s pop as well as 90s dance music. I am interested in exploring new places and open to trying new experiences.
I feel that life is too short to dwell on what has happened before and I like to do what I can to help others, which I do with a local Charity. I also believe that life balance is important and that life is to be enjoyed - whilst work can seem important, looking after one's mental health and physical health is also key to feeling good and enjoying life. .

A deal breaker is smoking or vaping. I am not looking to have any children, although it is not a deal breaker if a potential partner has children.
I am open to new experiences but would really like to meet someone who enjoys outdoor experiences such as walking, going to see live music or a good comedy gig. It would also be nice to have someone to cuddle up with in front of the telly and enjoy a good programme. Having someone to go on holiday with and enjoy new places would also be good.
I believe that to make a relationship work it is important for each person to have their own hobbies that they can continue to enjoy - to me it is important that a person maintains their own identity as well as being part of a couple and I would encourage them to still do what makes them happy and they enjoy - having some time apart can avoid people feeling 'smothered' in a relationship, although it is also important that quality 'together' time is also part of a relationship.
I would like to meet someone who is kind, caring and enjoys helping others. Someone who is willing to compromise as well as embrace new experiences and is willing to support me as well as me supporting them.
