I am recently widowed, so not looking to rush into anything. Looking firstly for genuine friendship and intelligent conversation with someone who is able to focus on the good in life.
I'm a retired counsellor/psychotherapist and former sculptor.
I like to walk, eat well, cook healthy food, keep fit, travel and make a warm comfortable home. I've also enjoyed gardening in the past but don't currently have a garden.

I think it is almost imposible to define what anyone is really looking for, but for more than friendship I think that mutual chemistry is necessary. However, I find men who aim to keep themselves relatively fit and healthy more attractive than those who don't. Honesty, kindness, consideration, respect for others and a possitive, non judgmental outlook are really important to me.
