About him
I travelled widely when I was younger, have a diverse range of interests and like to keep active. My interests include nature, politics (UK and world), science and most sports. I played football and cricket when younger and in later years did a lot of running. Unfortunately injuries and ailments have curtailed this. Rather than write an autobiography here it would be nice to meet someone, to tell them about myself and to learn about their passage in life. My children are grown up and I see them as often as possible. I look forward to meeting someone to spend time with and grow towards a relationship.
About his ideal match
I am looking for an open minded person with an optimistic look on life. As long as you share some core interests I do not think it is important for a relationship that people always have the same hobbies and pastimes. As they say opposites attract. Only possible deal breaker is that in politics I am left leaning so probably not a good idea to meet anyone whose politics are solidly to the right.
