I have just turned 70. Yes, 70. And here I am on a dating site. Make of that what you will.
I am not desperate, lonely or falling apart. Quite the opposite actually. I have a full, busy, interesting life and I am genuinely happy in my own skin. But occasionally, not very often, I miss having someone to share it with. So here I am. One last try.
What do I offer? Warmth, generosity, honesty and the kind of affection that actually means something. If I click with my partner I give my all. I am tactile, caring and genuinely interested in the person in front of me. No games, no drama, I have dealt with my baggage.
Family is my anchor. Two grown up kids, both married, three grandchildren with a fourth on the way, and a son who lives abroad, which keeps life interesting. If family means everything to you too then we are already on the same page.
I have had a varied life, jewellery, media, high profile roles along the way , and enough stories to keep a conversation going for a while. I play several instruments, sing, used to gig before Covid killed that off. I cycle, just finished 300 miles for Prostate Cancer UK. I cook, bake, do photography, video, painting, DIY. I am rarely bored and never boring.
I lean slightly right politically. Extreme lefties, consider yourselves warned.
